The Department is the largest in the college with a faculty strength of 18. The Department also offers coaching for competitive exams like NET and entrance tests for Post Graduate Programs in other universities. The Department conducts Bridge Courses for students of various disciplines at the entry level to enhance their skills in spoken and written English. Several extension activities are also implemented by the Department viz. Quiz club, Literary Club, Debating Club, Theatre Club and also Performing Arts club. The Department also supports the activities of the Placement Cell in an effort to strengthen IT industry and academia linkages.
